Cameron Brink, a Stanford Cardinal Pac-12 Conference basketball player, is the daughter of Greg and Michelle Brink. After dating for a decade, the couple married in 1996 after meeting in 1985 while playing basketball at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Cameron, although being born into a basketball-crazy household, initially showed little interest in athletics. She eventually chose baseball and went on to attend Mountainside and Southridge High Schools in Beaverton, Oregon, where she excelled academically and was ranked third in her class by ESPN.

Cameron has represented the United States in youth international tournaments, capturing gold medals in the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup and the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup. She made her college debut for Stanford in 2020, and her powers astounded everyone, earning a berth on the Pac-12 Tournament all-tournament team as Stanford won the Pac-12 Tournament.

Cameron Brink was born to Greg and Michelle Brink on December 31, 2001, in Princeton, New Jersey. Greg and Michelle, her dad, both played collegiate basketball throughout their undergraduate years. Greg and Michelle first met at Virginia Tech in 1985. Michelle was a talented basketball player who attended Virginia Tech. Her achievements on the basketball court are exceptional.

She concluded her career with 1,068 points, joining Virginia Tech’s 1,000-point club. Michelle’s ability and talents on the court were recognized when she was named to the All-Metro Conference Second Team in 1988. Greg and Michelle ultimately fell in love because they both loved basketball and went to the same college. After dating for a decade, their relationship became deeper over time, and they married in 1996.

Michelle recently marked their wedding anniversary with a photo captioned, “We met 37 years ago and have been married for 26 years.” I’m overjoyed that he agreed to be more than a “buddy.” Cameron’s parents are now both working at Nike. Greg is a former Vice President of Supply Chain, and Michelle works as a footwear merchandiser for the worldwide sportswear corporation.

Greg’s work area included Asia Pacific and Latin American countries. Greg joined Nike in 2007 alongside his wife Michelle after receiving his Master of Business Administration at Virginia Tech. He was Nike North America’s CEO for three years, finishing in 2010.

Cy, Cameron Brink’s elder brother, was born on July 28, 1999. Cy attended the prestigious International School of Amsterdam. Despite being born into a basketball-crazed family, Cy prefers to keep his personal life private and avoids social media. It is unknown if he has followed his family’s basketball legacy or pursued a different path. Regardless, Cy actively supports his younger sister by attending her sporting events and spending time with the family.
